I love Nato straps but I agree. There is a new strap called the Sifustrap. It basically solves all the issues with the nato bulk. 3 ring single pass and 1mm thick. Its what Ive been changing to.

Should show both ways to wear it just in case you have a watch that sits high on your wrist.

Yeah, but this way you end up with two additional layers of nylon, which gives bulk. Depends on the watch itself, but I prefer to have only the first layer - and the additional flap on the side (on the wrist).

Rule #1: Wear a NATO strap of the correct width. Yours is too narrow.
