How to create a “Game time” routine | Smart Home | Amazon Alexa

Get into the game faster when you set up a Game time routine. In this video, you’ll learn how to set up an a quick and easy with one simple voice command: "Alexa, it's game time!"

Here's how:
1) Open the Alexa app
2) From the more menu, select Routines
3) Click the + on the top right-hand corner
4) Enter the routine name (example: Game time)
5) Click “When this happens” and select Voice. Enter the command you wish to use to start the routine. (Example: it’s game time!”)
6) Add Actions. We used: smart lights, the Echo Glow, an LG TV and an Xbox, all set to power on.

Add Action - Smart Home - All Devices, Then tap on device to control, select On or Off as the action.
