I spent 14 hours creating a base game like this in Unreal Engine, and I'm just blown away by how powerful Core is. Those 14 hours are reduced to 1 or 2 hours. Insane.

With Core being powered by UE4, Core can be used for prototyping and testing for more experienced developers. Use Core to test game modes and see how they will play, then implement what you've tested in UE.

Core engine is built on top of UE4, and you cannot make stand alone games or Steam games, your games lives only within Core platform, and you cannot make profit out of it, so it is useless unless you want to test game concept, learn basics, or to do games just for fun.
