While you adjusted the parameter names at the end, it doesn't help because they don't match the material blueprint you build throughout the video. What you need is fill out the question marks with the matching parameters or use the proper parameter names throughout the video rather than the ambiguous ones you chose.

X = ?
X2 = ?
Y = ?
Y2 = ?
Metallic = ?
Specular = ?
Etc.

In general this tutorial is very good, but the different parameters in the final instance of the material is most confusing, also skipping how to even make an instance will make it very complicated for newer users like myself. Could you tell which parapeter is which? Ty tho for the walkthrough!

Why don't the parameters you set at the end when applying the material instance match what was coded in the blueprints?

I rewatched and verified I did everything you did, and I only get a colored plane with some transulency... Is there anything else you did that you did not show? When creating the instance, arethere more parameters than shown that we have to check?

For some reason the ripples is not working, everything else works but i can get not waves or ripples to work

How did you make it move? Mine doesn't move. Did figure out how to make it close to the video appearance after the names changed:

could you explain a little more on what is going on at the 3 minute marker, the world position and the x and y stuff please. I get how to do it here, but if im not sure how I would use this for other materials, like what is ACTUALLY going on vs the final effect it gives, I want the former. would be much appreciated!

7:33 but you have another parameters in the instance mat. or that is not the same material that you made?

When I scale up the plane that contains the water material it gets white for none reason, how can I solve this?

Problem: So the materials works fine, but I have problems with the refractions, so the materials always gets cut off on top or at the bottom of the camera whenever I change the value for the Fresnel or no Fresnel, I still can't find a sweet spot or is this just a Unreal thing? The unreal starter water material doesn't have this problem but there isn't a lot of option in the instance for me to check what was the problem.

Pregunta. Para qué te tomas la molestia de nombrar todas las variables, si después les cambias el nombre y el orden y "manéjense como puedan 😄". El nombre solo tiene sentido en contexto... si estoy viendo un tutorial en YouTube es porque no tengo idea de nada, si no lo haría yo mismo...

다시 한 번 따라해보고 있습니다. 그런데 인스턴스를 만들고 난 뒤 parameter groups을 다 활성화 하라고 하셨는데, Global Scalar Parameter 아래 항목들이 보여지는 것이랑 제거에서 다르게 나타납니다..ㅠㅠ 혹시 material 설정에서 뭔가를 잘못해서 다르게 나타나는 것일까요? (FadeDistance, Opacity, Water1, Water2, WaterSize, X1, X2, Y1, Y2 항목이 나옵니다 저는)
