Hmm interesting, been wanting to try these out for a while, will definitely consider it since you recommend. I am currently using the Colossus and Marathon 3/8 rollers

I recently started using their 3/8 and have been pretty happy with it. I might give the 1/2 a go on the next one. And I don’t think there is such a thing as a one coat paint. At least I haven’t found one yet.

I use lambs wool rollers only I’m just starting to change to new ones I always use 12mm or 14mm

Its funny you call it a roller, we call it a roller pad. The roller is the frame ;)

When the job has a certain mil spec, you use the tools required. 3/8ths is fine in cases requiring it- including home interior walls. Your point about 'heavy-handedness' is well taken though. So true. As is painters who dont apply pressure to rollers evenly.
