Life Hack: if you're having trouble with Master Mode Moon Lord, you can simply dodge his attacks in order to survive. This trick also works on all other bosses.

Bad news guys...
As of 1.4.4, the Hallowed Armor trick no longer works on the Empress of Light.

Hallowed armour isn’t “chance to dodge”, every time you deal damage you get a free dodge your next hit (30 second cool-down)

I would recommend using a Water Walking Potion for Duke instead of building a platform on the surface of the ocean, since it makes the Cthulhunadoes spawn under the ocean.

pro tip for golem: to beat him all you need to have is a weapon and at least 2 braincells

Pro tip for eye of Cthulhu for beginners. Skip him, go straight to eow, get destroyed, learn hacks, spawn in 300 terra prismas, forget to dodge, fail, spawn in kill commands, forget kill commands in the moment, spawn solar gear and zenith, give up and buy players online to beat him for you. Ya Welcome.

Planterra uses the background walls to move fast, if you break all the walls she is easily dodged.

What the other guy said. Queen Slime’s Mount is absolutely amazing. Definitely a Go-To item once Hardmode begins.

the queen slime mount is an insanely underrated mount that can replace both your wings and you Hermes boots, to make it more effective use a "double jump" in a balloon. It does make the master ninja gear kind of like an useless accessory but the good thing with the queen slime mount is that it falls and ascends faster. This makes dodging much easier for example moon lord and Duke fishron

Nvm got nerfed, use lilith's necklace gotten from wolfes in the snow post WoF for replacement

The Empress of Light will follow you wherever you go, so you can actually cheese her in a similar fashion to how you can cheese the Moon Lord himself: Chlorophyte Bullets and a platform runway the length of your entire world. Run away, shooting wildly offscreen, continue until you hit the edge of the world, fly over/under, repeat. Empress is a bit harder to do this on, so it's actually easier with TWO platform runways or an asphalt one with a platform above it, so you can dodge her line attack, but it's still 100% doable.

oh! i know a good one! if youre having trouble with a boss, that you just cant seem to defeat, you can summon the eye of cthulhu, and kill it wherever you need, and where it dies, it drops like 100-200 health worth of hearts, and you can use that to keep on going longer, you can do it as many times as you want, too.

Update: no longer works in 1.4.4 cause they made it so that if an attack insta kills (eol daytime, dungeon guard etc.) you cant dodge it

Hallowed armour doesnt work anymore if any one sees this empress can kill you even if you shouldn't take damage
