Rethinking Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion form some of the most important and hotly debated topics at universities and schools today. The purpose of this discussion is to take the conversation forward and to offer some new perspectives. The presenters do not claim to have the answers, but offer some insights after two successful careers in banking and education, spanning several decades of working in many countries across four continents. There is a fresh discussion of diversity across five areas to ponder: the environment, systems, learning, diversity in subject areas, and diversity across fields of study. The presenters argue that it is essential for organizations and individuals to embrace diversity, and that new perspectives must be explored.
