His artwork was not "poor"... the art school was just very prestigious and he didn't make the cut. Sure they were not up to standards but he absolutely was not a "poor" artist. Not being an apologist, just honest.

Little did anyone know that 20 years later he would return and be remembered in a whole different way...
Remarkable he survived WW1 or then, as it was known as - The Great War

I’ve seen Hitlers paintings. They’re actually pretty good. Like the world of acting, the art scene is very much about who you know. It’s nearly impossible to break into either industry without connections.

From sleeping in a homeless shelter with no food into a world-class dictator that changed the course of history. Its just insanely scary how things can change...

The sad thing is a lot of his art really wasn't that bad, He definitely still needed to improve his skills with certain things but the potential undeniably was there.

I've seen some of Hitlers art before. I think one of his biggest problems was he was too rigid and technical. The art looked fine it's just the way he set everything, it was too centered and straight forward, I dunno how to articulate it.

6:02 being assigned as a message runner during the War was a fairly dangerous job, on both sides, as one would generally have to run messages from the front to the rear to the front during battle, essentially running through the gamut of trenches and exposing themselves to artillery and mortar attack as well as gunfire, gas attacks, snipers, and trench raids. Not a job I, personally, would want to have.

“He would’ve been the reason video games have banlists”

That made me wonder; Oh, God, imagine if he made a video game 😳🥴

If only that art school accepted him...

I read mixed reports but some sources said that he tried to enlist in the Austrian-Hungarian army but was rejected because they viewed him as being to physically weak for military service but the German army took him because they had lower standards. Are there any reliable sources where I can look this up?

Wow, his childhood was soo bad that even the consulate showed pity?!! You have to understand that back in those days parents were brutal, if you don't believe me ask your grandparents how their grandparents were treated during childhood.

He should have reminded himself that Van Goghs art was not liked while he was still alive and continued his passion for art. Van Gogh only sold 1 painting when he was alive.

his art is actually rather good, so it was even more of a mistake for the academy to reject him bc there really was no good reason

Part of the reason he was homeless in Vienna is because he gave away ALL of his inheritance from his mother's death to his half sister.
