So as an owner of a 2015 GT I can honestly tell you ... the Axle back and the X-pipe or H-pipe truly don't come to life until you add a Long Tube Header ... at which point you will go from the cool guy in the neighborhood to the guy/girl that the entire neighborhood absolutely hates because the sound is on another level and its absolutely amazing! I need to do a sound clip of my 2015

I own a 2006 3 valve Ford Mustang GT with a 2.3l Whipple Supercharger with an H pipe and straight pipes out the back. It has an absolutely awesome sound. Getting ready to put JBA Long Tube Headers with matching Off-road H pipe on it. I should be able to wake my neighborhood and the next one over! 😁🤙

I usualy prefer H pipe on v8 but the coyote sound the best with an X pipe

I've got an X pipe on my 2018 GT. Turn the active exhaust up to sport+ or track and it makes a sweet sound.

I was once thinking the X- option, not any more. As an European, I do not consider European sound as exotic or something, the X makes the engine sound smaller, and like it is having a hard time moving the car. Some 2 to 1 systems with pipes before it just of wrong lenght sound bad too, so sometimes instead of Y-connection, a muffler with two inlets/one bigger out sound better. So, even if the pipes connected to the X happen to be just right and may give marginally more power, the sound is not "V8 enough"; the sound is like a John Wayne-movie dubbed in Japanese, I have heard that, and...
