Wow... I literally wrote a poem in my book that I just that actually said something awfully similar to this too. I don't think I fully realized what it may have meant until now, but I'm rethinking the meaning under this context. I go into trances when I write, so I literally have to go back and dissect my words as the reader, as if I didn't just write the words on the page, because it often feels like I didn't actually.

The lines are:

So many people talk about “living in the moment” and being “intuitive”, when a lot of that is just slow moving anxiety. Jung helps us create the space internally to ask different questions and approach ourselves with the right amount of mystery.
