Cuphead : How to Beat Sally Stageplay Theater Boss

This was one of my favourite bosses so far. I felt like everything that hit me was fair, and I never felt like I just got unlucky.
Sally is pretty telegraphed, and her attacks are very predictable. The closest to "fuck this, this is fucking bullshit" I got from pretty much any other boss in the Third Island were the roses in her last stage. But I would say that even that wasn't all that horrible.

So yeah... Sally best girl.

This might sound weird but you don't actually need to parry the star to get past the wave.
Just dash before she is about to hit you.

I used the pea shooter to beat her. The last phase was literal hell. Seeing the chasing bullets and the ability to change bullets mid-fight for the first time here breaks my spirit beyond any word can describe.

The best weapon to use on this boss is the bomerang (back-and-forth) weapon, with this Sally is easily defeated, what is more frustrating is to be able to parrying the pink objects because the only ones that count are the hearts and some tiny roses that fall from the audience at the end of the phase, sometimes you have to be lucky because it doesn't always attack you with hearts, especially if you use the bomerang (back-and-forth) weapon, as it will cause a lot of damage to the enemy.

The 2nd stage was kind of a pain for me, so i just parried Sally’s hearts in the 1st stage so that I’d have a full super meter to use on the 2nd stage. That made the 2nd stage only last for like 10 seconds. So much easier 🤞 Beat her on my 9th try, which I’m honestly surprised at since I am complete ass at this game 😋

with the smoke dash you dont need to parry the star you can just dash through the wave

I recommend using roundabout instead of spread because you don’t have to be close to her and you can shoot behind you and it will hit her

easiest boss in the game imo, was very relaxing after wanting to rip my hair out at the robot lol

I found this boss really easy, and got an A on it. It would've been a perfect run but I only got 2/3 perrys. I used the energy beam super, if you time it right you can use one for the second phase and another for the last phase which makes it really easy as thoes are probably the most annoying stages

Instead of Spread Shot, I used the Lobber. Much better as you're only really using it at close range.
