The Candy Corn is actually, by far, the easiest part, assuming you have the Smoke Bomb equipped. You can just dash through him. No jumping required, which means you can never be hit by the flying enemies. I always hope to get Candy Corn last.

The first three phases are easiest for the head is where I always die.

The final mechanic doesn't really move the bar at all. It's not a glitch, it just gives you a hopeless state of
"Omg how long does this actually take" every time you wipe.
Adds more pressure to the fight imo

for anyone in need, heres my advice for muffin/cupcake man:
Stay on the ground & avoid jumping. Dash if you are in his way. Roundabout & chaser are probs the best to use for him. hope this helps, this is just my strategy jaksja

you cant just leave out the muffin, especially if he is the third candy, then you have him, the princess shooting and the little candy runny around. For me he is impossible to beat here, say he forced you to the right corner, then the princess shoots at you and the little pebble comes out, where the fuck do you dodge? Can't dash left cause he is on ground, can't jump left cause he is about to jump right, can't sit still cause of the pebbles and the princess shooting clouds, ahhh!

On the final phase with the moving castle a good way to see if a peppermint is coming is to see if the castles teeth/gate goes away that signifies a peppermint is coming

I literally failed 57 times on this boss and I was playing in SIMPLE MODE, that just goes to show that not even the beginners are spared
