Joker: Folie à Deux is an upcoming American musical psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay co-written with Scott Silver. The sequel to Joker (2019), loosely based on DC Comics characters, Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as the Joker, with Lady Gaga joining the cast as his love interest, Harley Quinn. Zazie Beetz also reprises her role from the previous film, while Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener also join the cast. It is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios in association with Joint Effort.

Considering that the director says there won’t be a third movie I’m just gonna assume Joker and Harley Quinn might either run away together as a twisted happy couple or end in a Bonnie and Clyde situation

The leak saying he'll die in the explosion has to be fake. We literally see Arthur survive the explosion in the trailer and him fleeing from the court with debri all over his suit

Edit:I think I'm wrong because I noticed he'll have 2 court dates and you can tell because he wears 2 different suits. His red one from the first movie and his yellow and brown one he wears while fleeing the cops. The explosion will happen during the last court date while he's wearing his red suit. Such a disappointing way to kill joker 🤦

According to some source they cut the scene from the stairs that leaked during filming with Joker and Harley dancing together. Some of the comments in that video back like 2023 saying that Harley is going to be in Joker's mind and she's not going to be real person. So MAYBE Todd Phillips saw that people comments about that and spoiled the ending so he decided to cut the scene? and change the ending.

There won't be a Joker 3
because Joaquin just explained in the interview that he is nearly 50 and might put his health at risk by losing weight again for the role 🙄 He's done SPECTACULAR on 1st Joker as I anticipated before the film release... this time I don't have high expectations on this Folie á Duex. I'm not enthused w/ the actress choice... l'd much prefer Zazie Beetz over gaga. I really think they had a great chemistry together in the 1st.

These review companies lkke Variety have no respect for DC films at all, like wtf? Casually spoiling the twist at the end of Batman then spoiling THE ENTIRE Joker 2 plot AND the shocking ending?

What's with the hate? This isn't even a synopsis anymore just straight up going over the entire film and leaking it. Not exactly like Quantumania that had the entire transcript leaked which was crazy in itself but this is just wrong. I'd be so mad if I worked so hard for so long just for someone to leak my movie. I'd honestly be shock if they don't hire lawyers to file a lawsuit to be honest. To me something like this should actually be taken seriously and go to court

i personally don’t think joker dies here, mainly because we see glimpses of him surviving the explosion, either wondering around the rubble, or running in the streets of gotham away from the police in a burned, ashy gray suit. there’s also leaked footage of him and lee on the iconic joker stairs, but if for whatever reason that footage gets deleted, this will be very disappointing to say the least.

Joker films were never going to be Joker films in the sense of what the fans they are basically TP making a 1975-1980 Martin Scorsese/Di Nero movie.... if you take out all the Batman references, you have a pretty good/solid psychological drama which is probably a $500-700 movie at the box office.... you tie in the Batman references, and that add's a extra $300-400m at the box office.... never quite got how people think we are going to get a proper Batman v Joker story out of this, as Arthur is in his 40's and Bruce is only 11-14 years old in this, meaning Joker would be close to 60 by the time Batman starts to appear on the scene.

They're setting up JOKER 3. I can already see it. They might call it "JOKER: One Bad Day" or "JOKER: That's Life" with Arthur becoming more like his comic incarnation.

If that is in fact the ending I don't think I'm thrilled about it at all. That said, even if Joker does die the idea of Joker is still alive even in that universe.
