I think it's safe to say don't ask Todd Philips to do sequels when he has no intentions of making a sequel. The Hangover 2 didn't work and now this

I strongly disagree. This movie highlights the public's misunderstanding of mental illness and how no one truly cared about Arthur—only his Joker persona. Those he believed cared for him turned out to be indifferent, and he pushed away the one person who genuinely tried to help, all in a desperate attempt to gain the love he never had. The musical scenes fit perfectly, illustrating his delusions. In my view, everything was spot on. It was tragic, dark, and hollow, much like Arthur's life.

I honestly felt like the musical aspect of it would be to have a deep meaning like what we're watching isnt real or really going down how we think it is but if the movie doesn't explain that and really is just a musical then damn.
