yvonne says which bachelor's degree is most worth it and has the best job offers between it general and cyber security and coincidentally actually made a video going in depth about this covering all the degrees at wgu ranking them from the most difficult to the easiest and which degrees had the most job hits on indeed and linkedin based on the certifications that were part of each degree you can see network operation and security is number one cyber security information assurance is number two and then the it general degree is fourth and that's not to say that the it general degree is bad or anything just the other ones have more well-known certifications in them and likewise you can see they're actually more difficult so you have to kind of consider the opportunity cost when going for cyber security or the network operation security versus the it general all of them are really great degrees with really great certs and you can't really go wrong with any of them that is a great question check out the links in the description and good luck

Josh, I just started learning about cyber security and I was so lost and scared. Your channel inspires me so much and you have so much knowledge to share, you break concepts down and make it look so easy! You changed my life and I can’t wait to start with your course soon!!!

I'm glad that you can't go wrong with any one of them; makes things a bit less stressful.

IMO doesn't matter what you get. You can always get certifications after you graduate anyone of them.

What is your favorite IT job? I’m having a dilemma between cybersecurity, Software dev, computer forensics. I wanna do something that is low stress, challenging/fun and rewarding.

Could you make a video regarding cloud computing? Like pathways to getting a cloud computing job and how to get started?

Cybersecurity can be harder to break into.. there is an IT job on every corner though

Cloud computing is more difficult to learn than cybersecurity. If you have a strong knowledge of applications and Networking. You are half way there.

I think the spreadsheet simplifies it a bit too much. Because for computer science you'd learn python, java, some web markup languages, sql, and mobile programming. As well as programming techniques that can be applied regardless if syntax like data structures and the math behind everything like discrete math. And if you search for jobs in each one of those categories it would be much more than 143. Maybe 143, 000 🤣 and the same thing can be said of it management. Maybe if you type that exact degree title that's the number of hits you get but for the technologies you learn there would be thousands if not hundreds of thousands of job postings. Even with that being said I find it hard to believe there are less than 200 jobs that have "computer science" somewhere in the description

Can you do one comparing WGU bachelors in cybersecurity bs bachelors in cloud computing? And maybe one with data management

Software development is harder than cybersecurity? Wow I didn't know this. 😮

I have two questions on the subject: 1- In 10 years, can AIs replace or take over many vacancies in cybersecurity? 2- Do you think doing comptia+, NDE, DFE, cloud+ would already be enough certifications to enter the market as a junior? what salary to expect?

I’m not good at advanced math (precalc and above) and was looking at studying the software engineering program. I try not to stop just because something gets difficult, but if I try every possible thing and still can’t understand something when trying to learn, then I stop because it wouldn’t be worth the stress and leads to immediate burnout especially if you don’t enjoy doing it. Which degree do you recommend me pursuing after reading this?

I have 14 years experience in networking. I have a masters in cyber security. What is the best way to get my first job without a security clearance?

How can I say this... I took a Google course and I could NOT get past the networking section - it just would not register in my brain. Does that knock me out of doing tech at all?? I want out of nursing. Help. Thanks. And what do you think about QA? I got an ad that it was the easiest way into IT.
