Going from the episode where you first took the boat out of the water to this one is amazing! You have taken a rust bucket and turned it into an icebreaker! My half-assed suggestion: Steel and aluminum boats I worked on were pretty noisy in sloppy seas. You might be a little more comfortable if you can spray a thin insulating coat inside the hull. I'm thinking something like auto under coating. I bet there's a marine variety. All the best! 😎

When we made the bowsprit, chain locker and dodger, we had tons of ideas – but we didn't know if we had the tools to get the job done right. However we didn't want to shy away from a challenge. So we tried to be as creative as possible, trying not to compromise on the quality. What do you think of the results??

That seems to be a lot of extra weight forward, but I hope it just helps to punch through the waves. I love the idea of the chain staying lower than the deck, but still accessible for the snubber attachment. The bowsprit looks good and strong..!! Well done, what an incredible journey..!!
