No hater here, but you don't need the screws. An old timer told me years ago. I always like you're crazy! He said fill it with mud and fill your corner with mud and push it up there until mud is squeezing out from all the holes. I said you're kidding me that won't work. He said why do you think there are so many holes in it? I did it for me. I've never had one falter yet. I guess actually thinking about this as I'm typing, it would just be a matter of preference I guess. Thanks for your post

I used screws since I didn’t have staples. My corner bead come out great

Vinyl bead with spray glue or no coat and just mud it on is the way to go . But if you use metal bead and screws, don’t stagger them, that’s how you twist the bead

I recommend the paper faced corner bead and taping mud or all-purpose. I think the nail on stuff is kinda outdated but that’s just my opinion. It still works

I like to use a 18g narrow crown stapler instead of an impact

Google corner bead crimping. Those screws may damage the drywall and deform the corner bead.

If you don’t have a crimping tool, do you nail it off then you put perforated nylon tape on it then you put 45 or 90 minute mode on it for the first two coats and then use green lid mud any other mud the corner will Kraków and Theo if you don’t put the nylon and then it will crack when you hit it hard enough

I love your videos but this is not how you should put on bead. Should’ve used tension pins not drywall screws also I get in some situations bending the bead but that will just make it shine more and have humps in between fasteners

Don't ever do it this way...never bend and use crown staples
