Percy Jackson is the series that got me into reading back when I was 18. I’ve re read the series several times since, and they still make me so happy. I’m due for a re read this year since it’s been 3 years since my last re read

Speaking of Percy Jackson, there is a new book coming out in May! It's called the Sun and the Star, and it's about Will and Nico! That book is on my May TBR. I also plan to read Bastion by Mercedes Lackey (which I have started, so it will be a carryover), Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation vol 5 by MXTX, Dark Angel Nemesis by Brent Weeks (this book is over 800 pages). We'll see what else I get to.

My son just reread the Percy Jackson series and also the Heroes of Olympus series. He kept trying to discuss them with me and I've forgotten SO MUCH! This was the series that turned my son into a reader as we read them together when he was young. I think it's time for a reread.

—I am currently re-reading The Lightning Thief, and hope to actually finish the series this time and continue on. Life just got in the way before, and I am enjoying my re-read so far.
—For some reason, I really like that cover for The Witch King.
—Still need to start The Realm of the Elderlings. I love those UK covers, especially for the final trilogy.
—I started A Memory Called Empire a while back, and was getting into it….but then I had to return it to the library. Need to give this another try. Hope you enjoy the sequel!

House of Hunger - Alexis Henderson
Battle Royal - Koushun Takami

and if i finish those I might start a new series, but I might continue onto something Sanderson, I haven’t read him before and feeling like high adult fantasy !

I just started a reread of a childhood favorite. Bloody Jack series. Highly recommended it! Strong young female character who let's nothing stand in the way of her dreams ✨️
