I’m the same way with stand-alone series. If a booktuber is like “this is the third book in a series but you don’t have to read them in order” I’m like “Yes I do!” 😂

Sis. You know the saying, reading books and buying books are two separate hobbies. Well, I present a third hobby: making TBRs. I will legit make a TBR for a readathon that I have no intention of taking part in. And mood reading… girl. I can be about to pick up a book, have a minor thing happen (I’m talking my teenager coming in to say hey, taking a bath, fixing a computer problem for my dad) and in those 5-10 minutes I’m over whatever I was about to read and in the mood for something else.
