I would recommend doing throne of glass first and assassins blade third! I did this and honestly loved it that way, I feel like if I did assassins blade first, I wouldn’t have cared about all the mini stories as much as I wouldn’t have known the main character and a bit of her back story xx

Ella I love Throne of Glass I read it a couple of years ago and is still one of my favourite series starting with the prequel Assassin's Blade is the way to go

for me the assasin's blade is the second book in the serie, because you have read throne of glass and are already interested in the characters.
( edit: The assasin's blade are three short stories and I think it can feel like it has no plot, so if you read it after throne of glass you'd want to know the story behind because you get sprinkles of the main character's past in the first book)

personally I read the assassins blade after crown of midnight and I found that PERFECT but I don’t think you can go wrong whenever you read it 🫶🫶
