I would say definitely prioritize 'In the Dream House'! It's absolutely fantastic, especially in audio format.

The "if books could kill" podcast just released an episode on the anxious generation, they review non fiction books and present a deep dive into the science and correct the information that was given. You might want to look into that before you commit to reading that book :D

I LOVE An Immense World! So much information packed in it. I don't know if I would listen to it but I like to highlight my Non-fiction so I can look up facts later

I have 5 library cards in my Libby, every time I travel somewhere or even just the council next to where I’m living, I’ll apply a library card. So good

I really liked An Immense World! I think Ed Yong makes science really interesting and approachable. It's probably one of my favorite science books I've read.

I loved Ultra Processed People and the audiobook is definitely the way to go since the narrator is super engaging. I feel like I’ve never had a self-helpy book have such an impact on my life. I find the author to tackle topics of weight and sensitive topics with a lot of empathy, highly highly recommend

When the Body Says No is definitely on my TBR! Gabor Mate´ is a great author-physician! I read one of his other books, The Myth of Normal and I loved it. If you have not read it yet, and you feel like reading a memoir, I recommend you to read Finding Me by Viola Davis especially in an audiobook form! She narrates the book and it is a hard read but I really appreciate the book!

I forgot all about In the Dream House, also didn't realise it was such a short audiobook! I've added it to my library tbr too. Audios make such a huge difference to my reading appetite, I love squeezing them into my routine. I hope your mood shifts so you can also finish audios because it's such a nice feeling!

Six Crimson Cranes is a YA, fair warning, but I really enjoyed it. There were some surprising plot turns, but then it leads directly to the sequel (which I haven't read yet). Not a cliff hanger, but there is definitely more to the story.

In the dreamhouse is a fantastic memoir, one of the best I've read! You should absolutely give it a shot. Another great one that I'm not sure if you've read is Educated - I loved the audiobook!

I will be likely listening to Ink Blood Sister Scribe next month, so that’s my recommendation for you to try! I also recently gave The Spellshop 5 stars!

I also loved Six Crimson Cranes (it is ya tho, so very fairytale ish), and Spells for Forgetting!

I literally just finished Ink Blood Sister Scribe last week, I enjoyed it - the magic system was interesting. I read Six Crimson Cranes last year with my daughter and we both really enjoyed it. Also The Spellshop was a 5 star - a wonderful cozy book that I throughly enjoyed. Happy reading!

I've read In the Dreamhouse and These Burning Stars and really loved both of them. In the Dreamhouse is such an uncomfortable, important book. It's very heavy, but written incredibly well, I read it very quickly.

I have Elena Knows on my physical TBR. I need to get round to it soon! I'm looking forward to reading How to Solve Your Own Murder. It's a great title and I loved The Thursday Murder Club so that comparison is brilliant for me ☺

I'll be curious what you think of Murder Road. Gavin Reads It All and Katie Colson both absolutely hated it lol.
