I was so excited to hear you say you wanted to read more Murakami! Norwegian Wood is amazing (it’s my favourite book of all time) and I just finished Wind Up Bird which was also great.

Kings of the wyld was one of my favourite books that I read last year, just pure fun. I'm planning to catch up with Stormlight and start reading Joe Abercrombie this year. It feels like my TBR grows day by day. And of course my fingers are constantly crossed for more news on Doors of Stone.

Love Murakami and love Robin Hobb! Wind-up bird chronicles is probably my favorite Murakami book. Dune is an all time favorite ❤️❤️❤️

I’m glad you will continue Murakami. Recommend Windup Bird Chronicle over Norwegian Wood though both are good.

I plan on more Malazan, some Lightbringer, and Sherlock Holmes this year, as well. It promises to be a good year for stories!

You have a lot of the same books on your TBR as me! I’m excited to keep up with your journey! Hey as far as Discworld goes, there’s 6 thematic storylines inside the series. I plan to start with Death. They’re broken down online. Just finished adding all 41 books into my reading journal. It’d be great to read them together.

It makes sense! It totally makes sense! If there isn't a lot of description, and the author just tells me something like "he was tall and blond" I will actually put the book down, stare into the distance, and try and figure out exactly what this character looks like in my mind and what they are wearing and stuff. But maybe I'm weird xD

Go with Norwegian wood...i went through the murakami journey in 2020, it was great....Norwegian wood and Colorless tt were the highlights for me .
