and i agree - making and maintaining friends is very difficult as an adult. work and other responsibilities nonwithstanding, the distance - although it does make the heart grow fonder - makes everything so difficult. i live far away from all of my friends, in a place with a very awkward commute, so i mostly "see" them via texting. i'm an introvert - and so are my friends - so it's not all THAT bad, but sometimes i just miss them. adult friendships are definitely worth putting a lot of effort into and cherishing!
