X11 was never real, it was just a necessary stone to create the graphics wars, in reality X11 was an internal wayland fork with reduced security and network capable to be able to use as a backdoor into every single linux system, so microsoft could continue breaking linux userspace and ensure that windows would be seen as the only stable operating system, despite the internal struggles to keep the windows boat afloat
