if you’re wondering, my grandfather bought one of the lamps. it does actually taste like pink salt, but it is also very bitter. you lick the lamp and it taste like the pink salt. very unique!

I actually went to the Himalayas once, the scenery was beautiful and it didn't even look like what India and Pakistan are stereotyped to be! I even visited one of the major salt mines which was underground near a mountain and I got to see the lamps, the salt and I got to see how it was mined. And it does have health benefits although not for everyone since going in the mines is a great way to treat asthma and lung diseases. Overall it was a great experience!
