Plan N has worked very well for us. That plan covers 2 months of foreign travel with a $250 per year deductible and then 80% paid. I had a retina detach in France last summer. The bill was $4000 total of which I got back $3000. As I understand it they wii cover you for the first 60 days of each trip outside the US that you make. Be sure to save your boarding passes for proof of departure from the US.

I'll be turning 65 in April 2024. I spoke to Lauren in your office and she gave emailed me some current rates for Plan N in Texas so I have an idea of what the costs will be in April. A couple of months ago, my sister who is 69 and lives in PA switched from a Plan G with Transamerica (who is no longer offering Supp plans to new people) paying $176 to a Plan N with Mutual of Omaha paying $112. PA doesn't allow excess charges so Plan N there is a no brainer. Thanks for your videos. I'll be talking to Lauren again as I get closer to 65.

I'm amazed several of my friends told me how easy it is sign up for Medicare. That might be true, but knowing what you are signing up for really matters and I don't think they spent anytime researching things. I was really feeling overwhelmed just seeing all the info out there, but your videos really are helping me. They are so clear and easy to understand. Thank you!

Where I'm at plan G costs about 15.00 a month more than N. For the difference I'll stick with G. My wife had 300, 000 dollars in medical bills, home health, rehab, durable equipment, ambulance etc. All it cost us was the Part B deductible. Nothing like predictability and peace of mind.

Excellent video. We're on Plan N, but just watched your video to see if ambulance was covered, which you made clear it is. Another video we watched, we got a tip to not walk to the ambulance.

Unless you see doctors more than 6 to 10!times a year plan N is the better choice.’it also depends where you live as price guided by company and zip code. If plan G more than $30 a month Plan N the better choice. Plus the premium shall be more stable with plan N as Plan G now is guarantee issue. If fairly healthy Plan N is the better choice.

When do the Plan N office co pays start? Before deductible is met, or AFTER annual deductible is met? Even Aarp UHC can’t give me a straight answer. I saw a doctor that within THAT visit, I will have met my $226 annual deductible. They are saying that since I met my deductible within that visit, I also have to pay the $20 copay….although different aarp reps have said conflicting answered on WHEN the $20 office copays start. Are they Only AFTER the $226 deductible is met, OR it is ALL THE TIME, regardless of the deductible being met? It’s insane that even Aarp UHC gives conflicting answers to this question.

I just got my husband on Plan G. He turned 65 in March. I never heard of Plan N. I may consider switching him to that plan but he has only been on plan G for about 2 weeks. Can he switch now or when can he switch? You are so very helpful! Thanks for your videos.

I’m 69 years old (turn 70 in January) and have been enrolled in Transamerica Plan G @$216/month for five years (that enrollment was facilitated by Boomer Benefits). I take no medications and haven’t seen a doctor in three years. Am thinking seriously about switching to a Plan N. Thanks for the info

What happens if you wind up in the hospital where you can’t ask up front if the various doctors or surgeons accept assignment. Could you lend up with a huge access charge?

My mother is grandfathered into Plan F, would it be advisable to get her into a new Plan G or N ? We live in NY and she is 90. Thanks.

On this plan N, if one later develops a serious decease, like cancer or heart issues, will it cover these at 100%? Or would I also have to get separate insurance for these?

The worst health care system in the entire world people the start their retirement shouldn't have to worry about the health insurance. I don't understand why Americans let the government do those things to them.

If I end of with heart attack or major surgery, couldn't the doctor bill be 10's of thousands of dollars, a 15% excess charge on 50k would be 7500. I would be responsible, correct?

Can you tell me the difference between Plan N and Plan D? They look the same to me.
