My mom and my oldest sister had this correction surgery done after being told that it was the ONLY way to truly "correct" the foot. One by a podiatrist and one by an orthopedic surgeon, 17 years apart. Both of them regretted the surgery and said the pain afterward was worse than the discomfort prior Plus they both had size 5 1/2 narrow feet and had worn heels most of their lives. They never wore them again and both had to buy size 6 1/2 regular or wide shoes to be able tolerate walking any normal distance without blisters and swelling.

Dude couldn’t you tell us the reason it doesn’t work? My feet hurt and I’m desperate for relief most days (I’m only 25 and have dealt with bunions my whole life, their severity increasing over time) and I can’t do a corrective surgery at the moment, so I’d love to have an idea why I should avoid products like these instead of just a “No.”

Retired OT agree completely. I used adhesive tape with good results. Trained pt to tape and admonished her to get shoe boxes with more room. No need for surgery either at her level.

Don't buy this, you'll need an operation to fix this which involves a metal plate inserting. Problem is some people have worse issues after the op as its a very difficult operation.

No, I bought one and wore it to bed like the instructions said. Maybe an hour later I woke up in so much pain I was struggling to take it off!!! Never again!!

Can someone explain why its bad? Modern shoes push your toes together and socks do too even though the human foot works best with separated toes. Wouldn’t this be helpful?
