Recipe:
Ingredients-
1 small apple (finely diced)
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2-2/3 cup vanilla cake mix (I used sugar free vanilla pilsbury cake mix)
1 1/2 tbsp butter (create 6 thin slices)
Directions-
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. To a small baking dish, add the diced apple, apple sauce, cinnamon, & brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
3. Top the mixture with cake mix. Add as much as you want to desired crust thickness.
4. Top the cake with butter slices & bake for 40 minutes or until golden & bubbly.
5. Enjoy with ice cream!
