I love this hymn. I'm a totally inactive Jack Mormon alcoholic drug addict who's not in recovery and pops into Sacrament every once in a blue moon. But I'm a believer.

And no matter how far and wide I search, I will never find a rendition of this hymn sung better than at the Niles, MI/Notre Dame, IN ward I heard one Sunday morning


The men and women broke off in perfect harmony and sung this song that day in a way that not even the MTC can compete with.

I sang an arrangement of this song once upon a time with the BYU-Idaho Men’s Choir... but this arrangement is absolutely STUNNING and brings the piece to a whole new level! I can literally envision this being sung at the Second Coming of the Savior with the angels descending from heaven. It gives me the chills every single time I listen to it. Amazing!!!

This Hymn and the words are helping me heal through a difficult trial. I heard it during conference and it spoke to my soul, and I recognized it even though I had never heard it before. The words have been running through my mind ever since. "It is well". Through Christ all our sorrows are washed away, He has over come all!
