I’m a retired Hymnist, Hymnologist, Minister of Music and Quartet member. If you don’t have good baritone with a great ear, you don’t have a quartet. My specialty was a cappella hymns, and I must say this is a very well done hymn!

3 years ago, I lost my athletic, seemingly healthy husband of 33 years to a heart attack. In my grief and brokenness, I searched for songs to help me get through as I struggled with the reality of losing my best friend. One night I was looking for "It Is Well With My Soul" and came across this version. I had never heard of you guys, but I loved your version of this song and I played it nightly for months as a reminder to me that even if I didn't understand why God took my beloved husband home at the age of 56, I could depend on God to know the reason, and to be by my side as I worked through my grief. There are still times when it gets hard as I discover what God has for me, but I know I can have peace, knowing that the path He gives will be where I need to be to bring Him glory. Thanks so much guys for being a part of my journey!
