I'd like to share my testimony. I'm 16 years old, and believe me when I say, I've been through it all. I'm currently homeless, for the third time in my life, while still trying to go to school. I've been couch hopping for what seems like forever. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always been sick, so my family has financial issues because they spent so much money making sure I lived to see the next Christmas. I've also had a terrible childhood, which I won't explain in detail, but I will say that I've been in therapy for the past three years because I was mentally traumatized. Sometimes, it doesn't seem fair that this is all happening to me. But the great part about my life that separates me from so many, is that I have God to help me. Even though my life sucks, it is well. That's what this song is saying. It is well with my soul, even through the bad stuff. So don't let the bad stuff get you down, because through it all, God is with you, and if a 16 year old girl such as myself, whose broken beyond belief, can accept God and his love, then I pray that everyone else can as well. I'm an ex-Muslim who found Christ. At one point in time, certain life circumstances had me depressed and even suicidal but after finding Jesus, worse circumstances have not broken me. Because my strength is no longer in myself, but in Christ. And that is more than enough. I have found peace, peace that cannot be taken away from me. Thank you Jesus!

I’ve listened to this song everyday for the last 8 years. The first time I heard it in church I bawled and bawled. Through one of the hardest times in my life. This will probably get buried but my dad passed away from cancer four months ago. He listened to this exact video on repeat for hours on end during his home hospice. I went to mass last sunday (for father’s day) and silently said, ‘I miss you dad, where are you?’ Can you hear me?’ and just cried during the whole mass. Ten minutes later, after the gospel reading, what song did they happen to play…It Is Well With My Soul. I’ve never heard it at a mass before or since

I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! God is good!

My daughter was born at 27 weeks. We’re at 30 days in the NICU she just stopped breathing and turned blue in seconds, I just prayed and declared Jesus life over her and she came back to normal. Hallelujah! When asked how I was doing I said this is incredibly hard but it is well with my soul.
