How to Propagate Pothos Vine

Have you tried making them climb, mine, doubled in size and speed of growth, the stems get larger and larger as they go. It was news to me, but has made all the difference in the world, although the bald spots are still a problem at the bace.

The leggy vines without leaves, will leaves ever grow back on them? Or just cut them and start new roots? Also do you need a cut piece with a leaf to propagate? Thank you

I’ve had my vine plant for 18 years. Its name is George. George got left out in the sun on the hottest of the year so far in southern Utah. Now he’s dam near dead. I’ve had to cut all the rot off and now I’m adding soil trying to revive it. I’ve taken some stems and added them to water in a cup.

Mine did that, I cut off all the "leggy vines" close to the soil. Now my pothos is a bush and starting new vines.

Do you cut the vine and let them sit to dry for a few day thrn place in water? Or cut and put in water right away? I'm only asking because I have done it with other plants to grow out roots and it turned brown and slimy

I leave a couple inches head room in my pot and wrap the legs around the inside...

That plant looks awful. Most of the leaf's are missing from the vines.It looks really unhealthy.
