I've been doing something very similar with cuttings from my mothers plant. I took it as a memento when she passed. It is over 25 years later and I have such beautiful plants that I gift to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A piece of mom seems to be living indefinitely.

I just wanted to loop back here and say THANK YOU! Last year I did this and I have endless Potho's now and a indoor jungle here in Michigan. I also have shipped many to friends in TX & CA to share. Absolutely hands down the best video on Potho's propagation! ❤

Oh my gosh I've been propagating my pothos wrong this whole time! I was one of those that had a long vine sticking out of water. Then I'd plant that and wonder why my pothos never filled out! Awesome! I'm going to go cut it down and propagate it properly! Thank you!

By far the best and simplest explanation! I watched it a few months back and propogated as told. I now have massive bushy pothos, never had to buy a new pothos plant!
Thank you!

12-15 cuttings into a 4” planter and almost 20 cuttings into a 5” planter are good guidelines to know. Thank you!

This is the best pothos promotional video I've seen. It's totally understandable how those bushy plants are sold everywhere. Thank you very much👍👍🙏🏾🙏🏾

Did exactly as he suggested. Take an existing plants vines/runners, and snub/cut each leaf/branch before and after. Put into the water, in stacks of 6-8. Make sure the water is changed every day as you remember, or install into a tank with a pump/aerator. Put on kitchen counter, warm air. Do not put on sill that is 60 degs or less. Indirect light is fine, temps is critical. Should see group of root growth in 2-3 weeks. Key is temp, water replaced every 2-3 days or more. Put into a 4 or 5" planter. Fining plants look great in 4", so put 12-15 cuttings. 5" planter gets nearly 20 cuttings. Plant/pot looks great, and thus the crown looks great! Only difference I did was I planted into dirt/soil, and forgot about 'hydroponics'. Never looked back, mine are rocking on right now.

I'm so glad I ran into this video! My pothos is getting leggy and i want it to be full. When I do the trimming I was hoping to propagate the
cuttings but I hadn't found a video with clear details of how to do it. This is the BEST video by far! I'm so excited to try this out this weekend! Thanks for posting!

I followed the propagation method and repotted to soil after roots were established. I have bushy Pothos plants now. I am so happy to have watched this video. Thank you, sir!

You are clear as a followed exactly what you said and my cuttings are growing roots...I really appreciate your help because I had this plant for 20 years and one stringy vine that would grow a few leaves and then they would wither again.  I have always had a black thumb so this is really great.   Thanks again, this is much appreciated.

Great job of showing and explaining. To the point without unnecessary chitchat, yet thorough enough for a beginner like me to follow (except I put in soil as I don't have a hydroplanter). Thank you!

THANK YOU for addressing how often the water needs to be changed. I have watched SO MANY videos on all sorts of propagation and NO ONE has addressed the water change.

I had a long vine sitting in water for what felt like forever without any real signs of growth. I came across your video and cut my pothos as you have shown and all of the cuttings started growing roots very quickly! Thanks for this video!
