I think people miss the point here, he’s not denying it in hopes of getting out of trouble, he’s smart enough to know that’s impossible. He’s denying it because if he accepted responsibility that would give the families of the victims some amount of closure, and he doesn’t want that to happen.

I detested the way that judge praised Bundy before sentencing “your a bright young man” and called him “partner “. I’m sure the victims families appreciated all the judge’s kind words towards that murdering bastard.
