I get KP all over, and by far the CeraVe SA cream has been my favorite way to treat it. It’s the only thing that seems to minimize both the appearance of my existing bumps and prevent new ones

Its just cosmetic, and strawberry skin is an adorable term for it. Appreciate your skin, it protects you and hugs you always. You arent obligated to be a smooth hairless creature, you *are* obligated to treat yourself well though ♡

I’ve always had this but was never self conscious about it. Guess I now know what it is. Only really get it towards the top of my arms and shoulders

I had it so bad for like 2 decades and nothing would get rid of it. The doc I worked for suggested I might have an essential fatty acid deficiency and try fish oil. Within about a month it was almost completely cleared. 🤷‍♀️

my KP is gone within 3 days but marks are still there if you want to stop KP development then find a cream which contain. Salicylic acid, lactic acid, urea.

I used TOPOVATE-MF OINTMENT cream which is about 190 INR.

It doesn’t totally go away guys, but exfoliating with AHAs and BHAs helps reduce the appearance of the bumps and texture, plus you need to moisturize those areas regularly.
When I don’t stay on top of my skincare regime is when I notice the texture/ bumps more.

My 7 year old has had these since she was 3 and we FINALLY got a doctor to diagnose it like 8 months ago. Thank you for the product recommendations. We use a KP specific lotion but she has sensory issues and sensitive skin, and she hates the smell and feel of it.

Anyone reading the comments here who wants to get rid of their KP: the CereVe cream really worked for me. I took a shower about every 2-3 days, and immediately after I would use the cream liberally. It took about a month of this and my KP decreased significantly. It didn’t go away entirely, but I am pretty sure that’s normal and it’s the best you can do.

EDIT: This is just what worked for me! Everyone is different so learn what works best for you! Hope this helps though!

I have these and I find that they flare up during certain seasons. During winter and drier months they flare up but in the more humid months they basically go away. I moisturize everyday so they’re not as noticeable, but they used to be bad!💗

My mum told me it’s built up dirt and that I needed to scrub that part of my arm while showering every time. It worked and I’m smooth and free of bumps.
