Did Skydio pull the plug on consumer drones due to politicians, or did they go to politicians to try and get DJI out of a competitive position. Skydio didn't seem to have the financing to do both, and DJI was invading the commercial space also, and they needed to get rid of competition either way.

I think that DJI released the Neo to compete with the X1, but there are several things that the Neo lacks, and we are waiting for it to compete with the X1 Pro Max with the Neo Pro release

DJI does not have the mindset of a toy manufacturer so I’m sure their R&D team have a lot more going in their ‘skunk’ works than we are giving them credit for. I’ll be keeping my ear to the ground for more development
