I'll definitely be buying one to use as a tiny whoop indoors. I've got the Avata 2, which *can* be flown indoors, but it's just a *little* too big and too fast for me to fly it around indoors comfortably. The fact that it supports the Goggles 3 and the FPV and motion controller 3 is what seals the deal for me. That means I can sit on my couch with my Goggles 3 and just fly it around the house for fun. The fact that the image quality is lower than the Avata 2 doesn't bother me at all as I don't plan to use the Neo for making "high quality" videos. I'd rather DJI keep the price at $199 for the drone than have it cost $100+ more just for a better camera. For $199, I think DJI has knocked it out of the park with this one.

Comparisiom Avata vs Neo. PRICE comparision too. If you want better image quality, buy Avatar 2, don't expect the same quality for $199...

…Also keen to see what happens when you try to fly manual beyond its power capabilities (try split s, power loops, yaw spins etc) and it kicks you out of manual mode.

Red Rock out in Vegas! I just flew there 2 weeks ago. It was so hot out bro. I wasn't super interested when the all of the leak stuff came out, but it looks like I can get a nice little fun flyer that I can pair up to my Goggles 3 and motion controller. The price isn't bad either. Way more interested now that I have watched you and Billy's vids.

Spot on first impressions. Thank you. This is exactly what I'm expecting. It's a drone with modest image quality given the price point. Of course that price ramps up considerably if you go with the other contlrolroller oprions. But for what it is, and when I dont feel like doing anything cinematic as I would with my 2s or m3, this is a perfect chill-out, and just have some fun kind of drone. There are some great pro-level use cases for it. One is...Ever try active track indoors with a 2s or m3 through narrow hallways? Good luck. You're just asking to send your drone off to DJI Refresh'ment. This can fill the gap for that use case. My expectations are not high for super image quality, but my expectations are high for some relaxing fun. Fwiw...
