From my experience my cat ran to me the second she went into labor; she ejected her mucus plug at me then became very angry and agitated if I didn’t pet or massage her through the entire delivery. Some cats prefer solitary deliveries but almost every cat I have ever owned came for me for their deliveries meowing wanting pets and comfort through the ordeal. Same with my dogs and rabbits; pretty sure if I owned any species on earth pregnant would likely seek me out; *most. But critters typically like me; 🤷🏼‍♀️ as well as kids and babies. I have a ton of kids though.
