What makes the Barracuda so terrifying is the fact that he just comes out of nowhere and destroys everything with insane speed. Marlin and Coral are excited about becoming the parents of their many children, they have a great home with a great view, they're living the dream. Then... and then... AND THEN... the Barracuda shows up and just like that, what was once a dream is now a nightmare. Coral's gone, all but one of the children are gone and Marlin has become deeply scarred as a result. All because of the Barracuda.

Astounding! It's been years since the last time I watched Finding Nemo, but this soundtrack makes me remember even of the speechs, as if they were synchronized.

Everyone said it was a shark, but I knew it was a barracuda XD. This part of the movie scared my when I was little and is really sad today. Coral wanted to protect her children and ended up getting eaten with 99 percent of the kids, with that piece of crap monster leaving only Nemo alive. This music really leaves the scary impact...

I feel like the mood change from "Wow" to this, is just PERFECT. It starts off as happy, with Marlin and Coral being happy for their future children, but being immediately thrown off by the barracuda. The way it starts off from 0:00 to 0:20, building up the terror of the creature just staring at the two, then immediately attacking in less than 10 seconds, just... wow. If there's one thing I love about this track, it's the songs capturing the moods of everything that is happening without flaw.

and to be honest I was pretty creeped out by this scene and for the same reasons I described lol

One of the scariest moments in a kids' movie, but I tolerated it as a kid, although I was heartbroken about Marlin losing Coral and almost all their children.
