I love this cause it shows newmans way of embodying the ocean.. The back and forth of notes is repeated so much and it just seems as though it is the waves and tide going back and forth.. It's soo cool

I've forgotten why this track is called "Haiku" - but I do remember this scene visually; in fact, it was the most memorable sequence of the film, I think. The water rolling inside the whale's mouth, with this exquisitely peaceful, uplifting music playing - it was the piece of music that stuck with me the most powerfully when the film ended :)
