You are the only one that's doing this exercise correctly: Keep the weight in front of the face, don't use the arms for momentum, let only the abs do the work and you keep the feet on the floor. If you are honest to yourself you make the best gains and it shows in your physique :)

Just tried and my back went crunch...I literally saw a flash of light lol. I guess Ill see tomorrow how bad it is. I do have a prior injury in three discs down there...
I can be so dumb sometimes....
