My dragon tattoo has nothing to do with the meanings you mentioned.

It’s in honor of my dad (God rest his soul). He collected things about dragons, figurines, sculptures, paintings, etc. It reminds me of him.

Where I'm from, a Dragon tat usually means ur Welsh (Cymru Am Byth 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿) & the rose usually means your English. It depends tho, like a leek could be used instead of a Welsh dragon or a lion could be used instead of the rose for English representation.

Offf! I didnt knew about the meaning of the dragon one. I have one myself but for a total different reason.
I was in a mental hospital last year, and there i discovered the beauty of the movie spirited away, from ghibli. I simply loved the movie and it meant a lot that the friends i made there, even if i am a personal friend with just one of them now, showed it to me. I decided to tattoo the dragon from the movie in a very nice style i found on pinterest. I have it for a year now, and i love my tattoo. He means not only that i loved the movie, but also, that i could go through that phase and be okay now. Also, i am making my own design for my 5th tattoo. Its a tattoo of three sets of wings, resembling an angel. Its a mix of bat wings, Raven wings and moon moth wings. I love those and i hope i can get the tattoo soon

Every time I see a great-looking tattoo, I think, "How much did that cost?!?!" So, I have to ask, since all of these look so amazing, how much did these cost?! Those eagles were amazing!

I have a dragon tattoo. Its right next to a bear. Oh but wait i got it cause I'm a massive skyrim/elderscrolls nerd. And the Dragon is the sigil for the empire and represents its origin, order, wisdom and power. The bear i got represents a Rebel faction known as stormcloaks, their leader was called the Bear of Markarth, it was meant to show his strength, and his brutality. If you play the game you may think the Stormcloaks were the good side, but pay a bit more attention and do some research and you'll see how bad they really were.

I have a dragon covering my left calf. it was designed/comissioned for my (now late) dad by an inmate at our "local" state max SCI Graterford in PA where my dad worked as a CO and then nurse from... 1986 until 2005 I still have the original design paper and now 3 of the 4 siblings have the exact tattoo. The 4th was underage when she demanded to get a dragon but mom made her get a small one. the other two waiting until their early 20's and I was staring 30 in the face when he passed. Though mine has a banner saying "daddy's girl", my brother I think has his initials and dates(?), and youngest sister I don't think had hers altered. But it always amazes me the different meanings a person and as a collective take from tattoos. All of my pieces, regardless if a smaller piece or takes up an entire appendage, have a special meaning to me. But as long as a tat is done willingly and given proper care? Y'all can just be wiling out for all I personally care

If somebody is going to get a tattoo I hope they at least learn the meaning of whatever they get before they get it. And also put it where it can be covered in case you need to. For example, if you travel somewhere it may have a different meaning than where you live.
