the MOST important factor in upgrading anything on or in your PC is make sure what you are upgrading to will fit inside your case. if not then you might want to consider getting smaller components or a bigger case otherwise it will be all for nothing.

Another important suggestion is that when installing windows ONLY HAVE THAT DRIVE CONNECTED (sorry/not sorry for the emphasis). This is especially important if you backed up your data to a drive that is in the machine. This will prevent accidental loss of data and will sometimes cause mistaken wiping and installing to the wrong drive. you can always wipe and start fresh with those drives that you do not have backed up data on in the OS later.

Just upgraded from a skylake i5 6500 to a ryzen 5800x with tomahawk x570. I already had a pretty clean install of windows on either drives I had installed, but couldn't boot into either of them. Turned out, I had to switch off UEFI and reorder the boot order to get it to boot. No problems thereafter. Didn't need to reinstall windows, even though I am keeping a bootable usb handy just in case there are some issues in next few weeks

I recently purchased the MAG CoreLiquid 360R water cooler.

My case is the MASTERCASE MC600P and automatically following the case specifications, I can only use this 360 water cooler if it is from the FRONT of the case, so far ok! no problems.

My question is... should I use the water cooler with the tubes up or down ? 🙂 if anyone can help. 🤗

Greg, have you ever had an MSI mobo that resets the PCIe bus settings every time you swap cards out? I have an MSI MEG Z390 Ace as a test bench platform, and each time I swap a video card out on it, I lose my NVMe boot drive, and have to set it back up in the BIOS. Rather frustrating!

Hello MSI and Greg. Did anyone ever try to fit a 360mm radiator to the front of a msi mag forge 100m? It says it doesn't work, but it fits 3 120mm fans, so it SHOULD work... What do you think?
