We need you so much. Yesterday, a friend said to me "Youre not christian, your CATHOLIC", so i explained that catholic were the FIRST christians and all christians were catholic until the 1500's. then a barrage of abuse about pedophile priests. I explained that MOST pedophiles are married men, and celibacy will not make a normal man into a pedophile, as a married man has access to a n adult woman, and that man would ignore the wife and go for the child. Further I tried to explain where protestants came from. then i realized she did not know the difference between martin luther the reformer and MLK the civil rights leader. the ignorance in the world...plus they refuse to learn. They dont want to be proven wrong and refuse to understand. I am old and may have to go to a home. Those places are full of protestants that want to "grab" you before you die. These people make me so angry i dont know i can maintain a state of grace and die properly. any suggestons?

He lost those followers who were only following Him only for a free meal. Jesus is omniscient so He foreknew who was following Him in faith and who was following Him for free bread and fish.

Those who could not discern Jesus’ SPIRITUAL teaching in John walked away since their unbelief (blindness) caused them to only discern in LITERAL terms. Of course He didn’t call them back. They were the goats. They didn’t want to worship HIM. They wanted to worship the LITERAL bread, not the Bread of Life to be worshipped in Spirit alone. This was why He spoke in these terms.

Once we belief in our heart and not just our head, God gives us “eyes to see and ears to hear, ” causing us to be able to discern between literal teachings and spiritual ones.

God said to “worship Him in spirit” and “the flesh profits nothing.”

It’s the enemy’s deception that is preventing Roman Catholics from discerning spiritual teachings from literal ones.

You have isolated one verse in scripture that was intended to separate the wheat (believers following Him in belief of Who He said He was) from the tares (those following Him for His literal food) and made it the source and summit of your religion. This is where Satan wants you - worshipping a piece of bread made with human hands over worshipping Jesus our Lord in SPIRIT as He commanded us.

This is also where your lack of studying the Bible is deadly. You don’t know Gods patterns. Your cherry picking has deceived billions into thinking they are eating Jesus when He commanded us to “come” and “believe.” This is synonymous to “eat” and “drink” of Him but only those with eyes to discern His spiritual teachings know the difference.

You need to study His whole Word, not lazily believe the lies Rome is spoon feeding you.

What difference is it if Jesus was sacrificed outside?? Jews were quite familiar with sacrificing bulls and goats for the atonement of sin. Jesus Christ was the FINAL atonement. No more need to re-offer Jesus repeatedly on pagan, Roman Catholic altars. “ONCE, FOR ALL.” 1 Peter 3:18, Romans 9:26, Hebrews 9:26.

Your words are chaotic, not fluid. There aren’t two classes as you said, “Catholics and Protestants.”

There are two types of people in the Bible per GOD, not man.

They are:
*saints or sinners
*Jews or Gentiles

I am a Bible believing, Jesus Christ follower saved by grace through faith in His atoning death and resurrection.

You seem hung up on labeling people Catholic or Protestant. Jesus never did that. He separated people by whether they were saints (those who professed Jesus Christ as Lord) or sinners (those who did not profess Christ as their Lord).

Wish you’d use Jesus words more. Your flesh seems to be getting in the way and muddying your words.

U started off in scripture but then left and deviated to man’s word. That’s your problem. Repent and trust in Jesus
