Britec! It's great to see you still making videos after all these years. I learned so much about computers watching your videos when I was a kid. Now I'm 27 and still learning something new! Thanks for the help!

Hi Brian!!! This is the ONLY METHOD I found that got my computer to upgrade to Windows 11. It had it on there once before, but it crashed and what only install Windows 10. After doing the registry hacks that you provided, it worked perfectly and is doing wonderful, and even upgraded to all of the new updates. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Glad there is a legit method to install Windows 11, but for now I'll hold out til the end of support for Windows 10. Thank you for the tutorial.

i think I'm missing something. Microsoft says, "If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won't be entitled to receive updates.". So, isn't the only reason to upgrade to Windows 11 to actually GET updates? If I don't get updates, I may as well stay on Windows 10!

Initially Loaded a "copy" of Windows 11 on my Unsupported machine, worked OK. But could not open or run the Windows Security Application so could not run the Windows anti-virus scans. After days of frustration found this video and followed the above instructions step by step and now my machine, together with Windows Security, is working smoothly. Thanks for the great video, Brian/Britec09!!!

I am so glad I found this video, since Microsoft appears to have removed those registry instructions from their website—within just four days!

Thank you for creating and sharing this video. I followed it and I’m up and running with no know issues. It’s even slower than 10, but ok. I did this on a Windows 10 VM, on a mid-2015 MBP, CPU I7, with Parallels as the hypervisor. The only issue I dealt with was needing to open more fixed space to the VM configuration. I use Windows to run one thing I can’t on the Mac, and that’s a special Shogi AI GUI to play against and learn. And to QC the upgraded/install I played one game, all is well.

Note: You can just use setup /product server - no registry modification and no additional command line parameter needed. A German Youtuber showed this way. Also to note: If you have prepared a USB stick (the official way), you don't need the ISO CD mount. Instead plug-in the USB stick. Instead booting from it, call setup.exe /product server as shown at the beginning.

Hi Brian - Over the past couple of years I have at the request of the majority of my private customers successfully upgraded their Windows 10 machines to Windows 11 starting with (21H2), and those that are receiving the 'Out of Service ' message, further upgrades to the next version ie (22H2), (23H2) and the latest (24H2) have also been successful using the recommended by-past TPM and CPU methods. I have warned them all that none of us know whether Microsoft will make drastic changes to the software and force then to upgrade to more appropriate and hardware that does support all aspects of windows 11. So far so good. Great video though. Regards, Brian
