Just...thank you so freaking much for this video! I have just started my youtube channel with a few videos out. I don't have any camera. I use my Samsung S23 Ultra cell for all my footage. I know I will have to purchase a camera but I chose to start with what I have. Tbh, I don't know ANYTHING about camera, lenses, etc and I became overwhelmed as you mentioned. This video was so helpful! Your quiz led me to ezv10 both for hybrid and photo selections. As my wife and I anticipate welcoming our first child into the world this summer, I have been trying to decide what entry level to choose for basic family photos and traveling. I wasn’t sure about zve10 being branded for more video use and without an EVF but leaning toward thinking I can make it work and learn a lot with it.

Wish I could try a handful of different cameras. I went with a ZVE-10 1.5 years ago. Its been a blast. I use a Tamron 18-300 and a Sigma 30.

So, I recently purchased the canon r50 and also go the rode wireless go ii. What I did to get around not having a headphone jack is, put a splitter cable into the camera, then you can plug in the headphone and wireless mic. It works perfectly fine

Excellent overview! I got the ZV1 about a year after release and it’s absolutely amazing. I just a GoPro Hero 12 for my bday and I love it. It’s my first GoPro. Now I want a Osmo pocket 3! I love these little cameras.
