Olympus are SO underrated. Weather sealing, ibis, touch screen... so many features that are more premium except for the sensor size. Last time I checked the glass wasn't as affordable as I thought though.

I loved hearing you talk glowingly about the Nikon D7100. I shoot with a Z8 and D850. The D7100 has been a stout backup. If an innate photograph is extraordinary, the D7100 will not diminish it.

Every video I see headlining UNDER $XXX, I find the actual prices on eBay are at least 2X $XXX, sometimes even more.

I added the G100 to my MFT cameras last year, got a great deal on a brand new one with the tiny kit lens. I really like it for how light and compact it is and it’s perfect for daytime hikes. Lack of IBIS means I still take the GX80 out more, but for well lit situations where you want small and light the G100 is perfect.

I recently got a good as new Samsung NX300 with the 16-50mm powerzoom lens and I really enjoy it. A fun little snapper and relatively compact and I like colours this samsung produces! Nice to mix it up with my Olympus EM5 Mark II and Lumix LX100 which are great to use with their great tactile controls but sometimes it's nice to have something as basic as the NX300.

Love Olympus and micro 4/3. Idk why they're so much more fun to use!

Another benefit of the Nikon D7100 is it has the sprocket that old Nikon autofocus lenses require as they don’t have built-in autofocus motors. I think the D7200 was the last enthusiast Nikon DSLR to include that sprocket. I don’t know when or if it was removed on higher end bodies.

On April 10, 2024 MPB sells Lumix DC-G100 well above the price mentioned in this video - 384-414 Euro...

The Fuji X-T20 is also around 300 bucks on ebay. Got mine in mint condition with the great 18-55 premium kit lens for 600€.
Upgraded from a Sony alpha a6000.

Ever since I have been using a shift lens with an adapter that moves the sensor behind the lens but not the lens, my panorama image always stitch together seamlessly.

I'm currently using my Lumix G-81 as I'm starting to get back into video and photography - even though I'm constantly fighting the thoughts that I'm too late being almost 26 right now - i surely want to follow my passion and someday make a living from doing videography

If you use the camera for wildlife or sports, M43 is definitely worth considering because the combo weigh much less and the lenses are more affordable. The trade-off is that you give up some image quality if you pixel peep or crop heavily

I have a D7100 and it has plenty of fast focus points and focus is accurate with nikon brand lenses too. Plus it's quite high dynamic range.

I loved my Nikon D7100 but it can be difficult to use for sports and wildlife due to the VERY small buffer. Upgrade to the D7200 or D7500 for a better buffer

Why do youtubers always say "this 100 dollars" or 300 or under 600 dollars camera, when most of the time we won't have it for the same amount of money ?!

Why not the Lumix g7 instead the g100 ?

When the g100 first came out I didn't t think much of it. But as it turns out it's actually a pretty decent camera especially for it's size etc. The canon m6 is definitely the better version of the m3 albeit a little more expensive ( not by much tho). But the original M and M2 are actually highly capable cameras as well. Some of my best/favorite work I took, was with the OG eos M and M2. And the best part of those models is that you can add Magic Lamtern to them and unlock the cinema cameras from within that have caused a bit of a mega cult following, that, to this day is still being talked about and improved upon

I might just be lucky but usually it IS possible to score the a6300 for 300 or around so, if not then you can find the a6000 for under 300 easily, I'd recommend those two over the nex-6

Good video... I would also include the Olympus OMD EM10 mk2, very small and great features.... Also the Olympus EM1, as a professional grade camera has a magnesium body, in camera focus stacking and very cheap accesories like a battery grip, even though I have for more modern cameras it is still the first camera I pick up when going out.
