Worst thing you can do to your cat, and you left it out: NEVER, EVER DECLAW YOUR CAT!! Rest of your advice is excellent.

My Bombay, Bean, is now 20 years old and still as affectionate and talkative as ever! He was my best friend’s cat, but she passed away a few years ago, so he’s all I have left of her. He’s definitely one of the coolest cats I’ve ever had, and he makes a lasting impression on everyone he meets. The chillest cat ever.

My Bombay cat was dumped in my neighborhood as a kitten. The area was overrun with rats when a nearby date grove was removed. I was at wits end trying to eradicated them when a visitor said to me "you should have seen that little black cat! It just ran down and killed a rat about as big as Itself!"
It took me a while to win her over enough to enter my house as she was aware of my Boxer and my Pug . But, she began anticipating being fed and petted and finally followed me inside. She has been a Godsend.
The rats are gone. She follows me around and I have even had her join the dogs and sleep with me. She's awesome and I adore her...something nobody ever expected me to say about a CAT!

I think I just got adopted by a wee stray bombay girl. Those eyes, that face, her chattering, her purrsonality, her energy and her intelligence! Dear God is she smart!

I also just found out that my boy is a Bombay. He is absolutely wonderful. I plan to keep him happy and healthy for a long life span.

My bombay loves the outdoors in my rural area. He is an excellent mouser and brings me his finds. He loves to use my feet when I am sitting as his pillow. He is very active and since I have the rule, that he must be inside overnight he loves running up and down the stairs at night, so I hear the thump thump of his running feet on the stairs going up and down at night.

I had a Bombay cat named Nexxie. he was the first cat I ever got. we had him for years, until one day where he was acting strange. we wanted to take him to the vet but it was Christmastime meaning the vet was closed so we had to wait until the day after Christmas. sadly, he didn't make it in time. my mom found him laying completely still in bed, so my parents wrapped him up in a blanket and buried him in the backyard. I miss him everyday. R.I.P Nexxie 2006-2021

My Bombay absolutely loves the outdoors. Most nights she actually sleeps with me on my bed. Generally she spends 50% of her time indoors.

My Bombay beauty was my bestie for 16 years. All cats should be kept inside for a longer healthier life, ❤🐈‍⬛

a bombay cat arrived at my back door 2 weeks ago, now he comes everyday sometimes twice and he is the most affectionate cat ever, 2 days ago he fell asleep in my lap for 20 minutes and started snoring. I have been giving him good quality wet food and meat, this cat eats everything and is incredibly hungry, sometimes requiring the same amount of food again later in the evening/night. Today i played with him for nearly an hour with a toy mouse, he jumped so high and after a while decided to rest under the table and watch the birds in the garden. Then my original stray cat came and he got so protective of me, he came over to me and started hissing at the other cat, they were in the garden screaming like babies being murdered then they walked away in the same direction 🤣

I adopted an adorable kitten from the shelter. He turned out to be a gorgeous Bombay that had been given away because his tail was previously broken and is deformed

My Bombay is almost 4. She is always inside. Loves looking out the window. And she gets daily exercise running through the house and always on the go.

My Bombay LOVES being outside! But he only goes outside from 8pm onwards and usually comes back at 5am. He stays inside and sleeps from 6am till I get home at 4:30pm, then he lingers and at 8pm he's gone. He gets anxious if I don't let him out. I rather him out at night though, it's safer. Plus where I live there is hardly any traffic. I love him so much.

My very first and only kitty is a sweet little 6 pound Bombay, Lucy is approaching 18 years old. Just as active as she was when I brought her home with me 17 years ago.
