Blackfyre rebellions could be a cool spin off for Got series. However, my preference would be dance with dragons even though the cgi costs would be enormous

Would love to see Ken and Rachel do a rewatch of all 7 seasons. Review 1 ep per week and that should end up roughly to the start of season 8 give or take a month :)

I love these videos. Do you also take requests? I would like to see Ken talk about the differences between the books and the show in terms of the story. I'm curious how some of the changes in the show could eventually lead to a different ending as is being speculated by many people online.

Its kind of hard to be that excited about the Golden Company in the show since the character that makes them interesting is book only (no spoilers...but you know who I'm talking about). That character is also what makes the Targaryen element of their history so fascinating, especially with GRRM's tendency to have history repeat itself in the books. The main positive about their addition is we're likely going to see the Westerosi somewhat unadapted to their style of combat (especially since we have yet to see war elephants on the show).

I didn't see a single tree when Euron started of from the Iron Island, yet he was able to build an entire fleet in a short amount of time. So, I'm pretty sure he will have no trouble making ships ready for elephants to travel in...

Thanks for doing these Ken. Maybe you and Rachel can do some weekly show, where you can talk about the books, how they connect to the show, where the show move away from the books (pre season 4). A lot of people haven't read the books.... just a thought.

Please make a video on the Azor Ahai prophecy! It's one of my favorite prophecies from the entire books!

You forgot to add that Aegor "Bittersteel" Rivers had demanded from his men, that when he perish in battle his skull would be plunged in liquid gold. This act became the very sigils for The Golden Company (golden skulls on a pike) cant wait to see this next season.

The Golden Company was first mentioned on the show in Season 4 by Davos while talking to Stannis about Joffrey's death.

Jon Cannigton was Reaghar Targaryen best friend. I'm pretty sure the Golden Company will break their contract with Cercie and pledge loyalty to Jon Snow aka Aegon Targaryen

They ultimately wound up doing nothing. However, is it possible Jon Connington is still alive? Was he the one to whom Varys wrote that note (I believe he sent one note and burned another to make it look as though he didn't send it)

ps in the show version there is theory that Three Crow in Cave is not a great bastard or Bryndern Rivers because he said been in cave for 1000 years. Bryndern Rivers went missed  Land of Always of Winter in 252 AC.

I'm mad that Cersei is still alive, she's going to be stronger than ever. While Jon and Dany are heading North to battle the Night King, she doesn't lift a freaking finger. She has more than 15.000 Lannister soldiers + Euron's armada. And now she sent Euron to bring The Golden Company to fight for her (20.000 soldiers, horses, Elephants), They will do their best to honor their contract.
On the other hand, Dany's army is going to be obliterated by the Night king. Jon's army is around 10.000 men so no need to talk about them because they will be eradicated in a single battle. The Night King will massacre them all. At the end, they won't have a lot of people left to face the bitch.
How are they going to defeat her ? I want that cunt dead.
Their best option is to attack Cersei first for betraying them, and then defending against the Night King.

Is Jon going to drive a sword into the heart of the one he loves, Dany's heart, so that the sword becomes light bringer which Jon then uses to defeat the night King, and Jon fulfills the prophecy? And would that be the bitter sweet ending that the author said will come?

All the money and all the armies in the world won't save Cersei when Jon Snow embraces the fact that he is Azor Ahai Reborn.
