ENT Manifestations of Migraine 27: Vestibular Migraine and Tinnitus response to CGRP Antibodies

This patient with Vestibular Migraine was previously interviewed(Episode 16) and failed trials of sodium channel blockers, calcium channel blockers and tricyclics but has had an unequivocal response to CGRP antibodies. She has return of isolated tinnitus(no headache or dizziness) in the 5 days prior to her next monthly dose of CGRP antibody. Response of neither VM nor tinnitus to CGRP therapy have been reported at the time of this posting.

This is interesting to me, I will look more into this. Thank you. I have chronic migraines treated with Propranolol and Botox with good results leaving extreme exhaustion, tinnitus, fog, light sensitivity, dizziness, random body pains, morning pain and inconsistent transit times.

Is she having painful migraines? I have fullness in ears and tinnitus, sound sensitivity and brain fog insomnia as well. What could it be is it vestibular migraines?

Weird I woke up one morning last year with lightheadedness, tinnitus, and migraine like pressure headache. I thought it was covid but I took two tests and didn't test positive. I have this head pressure constantly every minute of every day of my life with dizziness and head pressure for the past year. My hearing is perfect, but it's terrible I don't know what's wrong I've tried toprimate and amitriptyline, doctors don't have answers for me.
